Philip Womack became a Freeman of the Stationers’ in October 2023. He is a writer, educator and freelance journalist based in London.

His most recent book for teens, Ghostlord, was Sunday Times Children’s Book of the Week, and last month he enjoyed giving a talk at Chichester College in West Sussex about his books, including its predecessor, Wildlord. Both are set in the modern world, but involve magic and ancient mysteries. This August he will be delivering a creative writing workshop with Via Facilis, an educational charity which promotes the teaching of Latin in state schools.

A subsidiary of Max Communications Ltd (Max), named Max Archive Services Inc., has been registered, secured office space, and initiated hiring, starting with the appointment of an Operations Manager in Nevada to service the West Coast. This subsidiary has already undertaken several projects in the US, primarily commissioned by existing UK-based clients.
