1 MARCH 2022
Robert Hughes-Penney, Chair of the Organising Committee, has alerted us to this special opportunity to pray for Ukraine on Wednesday, 2 March 2022 8am-9am (doors open 7.45am) at Holy Sepulchre Church, Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2DQ
He writes: I am sure that the news reports of what has happened in Ukraine over the past few days will have provoked in you many emotions and reactions. In these uncertain times, the one thing that Christians the world over can do is pray. Therefore, the Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury have called on peoples of all nations to join together to fast and pray this coming Wednesday 2 March 2022 for peace in Ukraine. As part of this Global Day of Prayer, the City of London Prayer Breakfast in association with the Square Mile Churches would like to invite you to Pray for Ukraine on Wednesday morning. At the event, we hope to be joined by members of the Ukrainian community in London and both civic and church leaders from our City.
The location is Holy Sepulchre Church, Holborn Viaduct EC1A 2DQ.
Owing to shortness of time, no booking is required and all are welcome. We encourage you to come and pray in person, but you can also watch a live stream and join via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83852794555
